Need some rear suspension advice
I am finally digging into my 71 and starting with the rear. I allready have a set of CPP rear trailing arms and the CPP rear notch kit and slam specialties RE7's. Not trying to lay frame but I know it will get pretty low with a standard c notch so I want to get an adjustable panhard bar and prob do the shock relocation as well. My question is who makes the best panhard bar? What shocks are the best to use? I was planning on going with ECE for the panhard bar and using Beltech nitro shocks. Also, do you guys think a crossmember replacement is needed? If so, who's should I go with, brother's has one, cpp has one and so does ECE. Also, since I know someone will catch it, I will be converting from lwb to swb (hence the crossmember question).

Persoonally I would try to buy all same brand/manufacturer parts. They tend to be engineered to fit together.I don't think much of modern engineers but I figure they leave enough clearance to keep stuff from rubbing against each other.

Re: Need some rear suspension advice
thats what I was thinking about mixing companies...I actually picked my trailing arms up off ebay NIB from a private seller for a great deal. So i haven't actually had to deal with cpp for anything yet, customer service wise anyway. thanks for the input.

Re: Need some rear suspension advice
I bought my shock kit and super track bar from ECE. Great guys. Haven't installed it yet, but plenty of other ppl on this site have.
