dont cut a spring. just go ahead and order the drop spindles and springs. use blocks on the rear if you must. but i say do it right with no headaches

Oh, that's why the GMC C20 we have has full leaves and the Chevy C20 has trailing arms with the half leaves, it makes sense now!!

how low do you want to go ? if its just 2 or 3 " than you can buy springs from classic performance for about 100 bucks .if you really want to slam it consider spindles and springs so you wont have alignment problems. hope that helps welcome to classictrucks.
