He is correct.
You will need a bell housing and flywheel. I'd suggest looking for one from a mid 50's to early 60's Chev pickup.
You will also need the flywheel that matches that bell housing so the starter will mesh with the teeth on the flywheel.

I might pull my 250 out this weekend to get ready to put the 292 in and if I do I'll try to get some photos of the bell housing and how it is mounted.
