Question Info Needed!!

Alright I have been talked into going with the 454/400 conversion on my 67 SWB instead of the 350/350 combo when I change it over form a 292. I have everything for the 350 swap any of that going to be able to be used? Anyone have a goof FAQ on this with a narrower 67 frame. Basically looking for a Guide for idiots version. One other dumb question can a TH350 handle a 400+ hp BB? Thanks for all the help just have to start getting ready to go a whole new direction.

Re: Info Needed!!

The th350 can handle over 400HP, but I would put good parts in it, use a higher stall torque converter, and use an external tranny cooler. The th400 is a stronger tranny, but it also robs more power. You probably already know, but your front springs are probably too soft for big block (if they are stock).
