Wind wing screws -

Does anyone know what size the screws are that go in the door by the wind wing? They are the ones to help hold the door together. My '70 has '72 doors but I'm missing the screws.

Re: Wind wing screws -

I just took mine out and threw them away because I ordered new ones. I stripped the phillips heads on them. The new ones are 1/2" long and a hair larger than 1/8" in diameter (probably a #8 screw). To see a picture of them go to classicparts.com and type 03-844 in the search box, a picture and price should appear.

Re: Wind wing screws -

I know that mine are not 2", because the ones I got from classicparts are
1/2" long. And the ones I took out were about a 1/2" long.
