That's right. I love it up there in the boonies! The roads aren't the greatest for the 69, but that's what the 'Burban is for. Back in the '40s it was the Michigan College of Mines. The school still makes up 56% of the town......

I remember being there in the early 50's when my Grandpa died. It was winter, snow so high, people had flags on their antennas or something so you knew they were coming. Long time ago. Sounds like it ain't changed much. Good luck with school.

As far as the snow goes, all I can say is, "Thank God for 4x4s and snowmobiles"
(although this winter was pretty weak)
