WTB 65-72 Panel
WTB 65-72 Panel
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, now Im really in the market for a nice 65 - 72 panel, not a project. Distance is not an issue, closer the better. There are a couple on Ebay, nice 3/4 ton, which is fine, the more complete the better. I really do not have the time to do any major work, more complete the better. Let me know what you or your buddy has available. Thanks, Darren __________________ 67- 72 Parts collecter

Re: WTB 65-72 Panel
problem is the parts forum moves WAY too fast, so I double posted in each section.

Re: WTB 65-72 Panel
Just talked to Jeri at Dragers, I think he thinks he owns the last panel in the world, he has his reserve set at 18500, (insert long belly laugh). No wonder he still has it. He was offered 10 for it, I think now he will regret not taking it.
What do you guys think its worth? Its not that special!!! Darren

As far as the gold panel goes, his asking price seems way high. The problem with that ride and alot of others for that matter is someone built that to their personal tastes. If you build a ride in a more neutral or timeless way...no weird graphics or tweed interiors...popular at the moment kind of stuff, in my opinion they are more desirable and much easier to sell. I'm not paying top dollar for something I'm going to need to repaint or redo the interior etc etc. There are a ton of really nice trucks on this board done in a timeless manner that would sell in a flash. |

Re: WTB 65-72 Panel
It seems to me it was down to $12,000 or $14,000. It has been for sale for a year or so.

Re: WTB 65-72 Panel
I agree with CG..
"The problem with that ride and alot of others for that matter is someone built that to their personal tastes. If you build a ride in a more neutral or timeless way...no weird graphics or tweed interiors...popular at the moment kind of stuff, in my opinion they are more desirable and much easier to sell". IMHO... both are too way much $$... Panels and Suburbans are a tough sell. Not everbody likes them. The one at Drager's has been for sale for a long time and what kills it for me is it is a 3/4 ton, a plain Jane interior wise and the graphics, The Pink one is self explanitory.. both would need to be redone to suit ones personal preference. |

Ok, how about a nice 3/4 ton that I can drive around the world without any problems?
