converter?
heres what I got, it's a 68 c10 with a gm 290 crate with a weiand 142 sitin on top, it's got 3.07 rear gear with 28.95 tire's in the back, got a TCI shift kit, locker, and a stock converter. I'm to the point where it's holding me back and I want to know what to get? 2400, 3000? If I hold first out to 2500 and try to step on it at about 20-25mph it burns them but off the line it's kinda lungy like it bogs down but once it it's around 2500 it's realy happy and I think if I could launch around 2000 it would realy rock but I thought I would ask you guys
And my second question is when do you feal like it's worth going to a dyno? I pretty much have the motor how it will stay for the rest of the summer and I think it's about time I take it to a dyno to try to get the most out of it. I just pt 1 3/4 headers, and a 3 inch exaust with a x and flomasters
