Question Daily Driver, Week End Driver, Show Only

To help casey out with his request. Lets do a poll and see how many drive their truck on a regular basis or just week ends. Here goes.
This is for you Casey!

Mine is my daily driver. The more Mods I do
the less gas mileage I get, but I guess it goes with the territory!!
It is too much fun, to just let it sit in the garage!!!

I can only drive mine on the weekends now that I am in college. When ever it is nice I get it out a drive it to work and to town on Saturday night. I will be driving it every day about the end of May.

Daily. Probably not that sanest since my gas mileage sucks, but I enjoy driving it.

Will get back on the bike for commuting to work once the weather gets better.

I voted daily, but I guess that's not sayin' much considering mine is in thirty year old truck condition. If I were home I'd post some pics.

Unhappy daily driver

Mine gets me to work everyday, but if these gas prices keep goin' up, I'm gonna have to start riding the old bicycle everday. (gas price on Feb. 5 -79.9 cents/litre-ouch!)

I tend to respect the Daily Driver Class more at shows. "True everyday driver class" Not the ones trailered in! LOL I never was much into all the undercariage chrome, etc... Some well placed Rhino lining/undercoating, maybe a nicely painted frame. Not the ones that claim everyday driver, and you can eat of the chassis. LOL

Daily driver all the way. Maybe one day I'll have one of 'em shined up enough to show off, but...

It helps that, right now, my trip to work is only 20 miles round-trip. So, for now, I can "afford" to drive my truck.

Time will tell if that remains the case.

Drive my 69 to work daily, go through a tank of gas every 5 days. My 52 was my weekend driver (before I got the 69 last summer). Hopefully the wife will be able to keep a job this year and I will be able to start the frame-off on the 52 next winter.

Both the 69 and the Blazer are daily/regular drivers. Drive one on one day ,the other the next!! Showed and only drove the 69 on weekends the first couple of years after restoration in 91, but realized how much fun it is to drive it all the time. After 130,000 + miles, it's time for another resto. Doesn't do alot of good sitting in the garage getting dusty. New vehicles are fine, but I like something I can still work on if it does break down.

My 72 is a daily driver - 30+ miles per day. Right now using just 2nd & 3rd gear. Anyone in the Oklahoma City area have 3-speed Saginaw they want to get rid of? Cheap

I drive my 72 Burb everyday. Just got back from Charlotte, NC (went down for my granddaughter's heart surgery) put over 500 miles on it since Tuesday. Put $115. worth of gas in it in 3 days!

I called mine a daily but I just don't drive daily while in school, period...

When I'm not in school, though, I rack the miles up. I put over 1000 miles on my truck in 3 weeks this Christmas break...
