no iam leaving it stock for now mainly due to budget. it will still have lots more power than the old 350 2bbl.

Frame is getting sandvblasted today should have it back friday. Then the fun begins my finger healed so i can finish it up now hopefully without any more setbacks. I'll try to get some pics posted.

I have been told the fly wheel is not the same too...so you'll need a vortec...or at least new style flywheel for your swap.

I have the complete motor and trans out of a 97 tahoe. It was running in it but it had a minor disaster so it was the organ donor.

Question

Anybody know if you need to seperate the ground wires on the 87 gas sender unit for the 97 tahoe computer??? Will it still work if you don't?

I have the body off to the shop getting painted and I already have the entire drivetrain installed adn ready to go. With any luck I will have it driveable in a few weeks. I will try to figure out the picture posting and show you guys what i have done. I haven't had time to \breathe lately.
