400th kickdown

Trying to find kickdown parts for a "72". Right now I don`t have tranny hook-up or kickdown solenoid.

Re: 400th kickdown

Are you looking for the wiring harness and transmission detent switch for a TH 400? Normally the detent switch is in the transmission. I may have the wiring but not the detent switch. Can you clarify as to what you are looking for?

Jim

Re: 400th kickdown

I think that he is looking for the pedal mounted switch and wire harness that goes from this switch down to the trans. This one pictured is off a 71 but will work on a 72 or vise-versa. Good luck on your hunt!

I kept the donor truck until my truck was done just for this reason. I will inspect everything and see what i can use and what not..

Now that i know how that kickdown works, any ideas how the electric choke would work in my 71?
