Windshield wiper motor
Beside Newport, how many of you folks have fabed up your own windshield wiper system using the stock arms and blades?

Re: Windshield wiper motor
being im using a wiring harness out of a 64-66 chevy truck, I also used the wiper motor out of the same yrhaas to extand the pass side arm about 1.5" and the ends to clip to the motor itself by drilling the ends and put the right size bushings in place

Re: Windshield wiper motor
Many moons ago I used a 65 wiper motor and arms in my 59. My memory is fabing a bracket out of sheet metal to hold the motor, an lengthening or shortening the arms. I did not have a welder at the time so they were screwed and clamped together. They worked fine for 4-5 years. I then came across an old GMC donor truck that had the factory electric motor and arms. The motor mounted to the same points as the old vaccum unit. Nice thing is there was plenty of room up under the dash to work.

Re: Windshield wiper motor
Look for GMC's in the 55-59 range, I believe they had the electric motors because they were the gentlemans model! Happy hunting. FWIW I'm searching for 64 Chevelle MALIBU side trim (spears). Patrick
