Ok i need to ask, what does the overfill do besides catch the overflow when she gets hot? Mine just goes on the ground. Whats the need to catch it?

It’s just an environmentally conscious decision. I just stuff an old coolant jug in the corner beside my battery and run the overflow into it. Not a show truck set up, but it does the job.
