Re: What to do next -too many trucks

[QUOTE=impalamark;2798393]Well got yelled at this weekend by the Wife for having too many trucks

Never thought I would hear that from a truck guy.
Never thought a truck guy would allow that...

Re: What to do next -too many trucks

yea the console is going to need some work
there are stress cracks around the hinge area and what suburban
would be complete without a C.B. RADIO BOLTED TO THE CONSOLE
frustrating but I think repairable -after all they owned at the time

the buckets and console will go in this with the engine/tranny

other than the front wheel wells it's completely rust free

Mick
Well Mick
I simply explained that all four of my trucks
when bought each cost 5 dollars more than just one payment
on her 06 Tahoe and that the insurance for each one of mine
for one year equals what she pays for two months for insurance
I also drive a company car and it's expenses are covered
by the boss completely so she is really the one costing us big bucks
for transportation .But she got to express herself ,I got to explain
her error in logic and I still have all my trucks
till next time
Mark -truck guy

How are you gonna fix it? Epoxy? That will be cool though--black with tan interior.

A darn good question and suggestion

the truck originally had a burgundy interior but
I am diggin the idea of the tan interior kind of lends a modern touch

so many trucks, parts and decisions

oh and a lot of work too

Looks like your having fun. Keep us posted on your progress.

BTW- Y'all don't get his build thread locked by turning it into a "For Sale" or "Wanted to Buy" post.

O.k. guys let me tell you bout the wife
when I
met her she was driving a t-top 5 speed v-8 camaro
she traded that for a 03 mustang supercharged cobra over
over 400 hp when she made me chip it and put in pulleys
and yank the air box , buther job changed and needed
space so on to the Tahoe
When I bought my Honda vtx1300 she bought a Harley v-rod
so she 's not typical
she wants the shortbed tricked out bagged and big blocked
but I'm taking my time going cheap working with what I have
I make money on one project to feed another.
Rusty or my 82 will eventually {NOT AND OFFER MODERATOR }
get sold to finance the short bed . I did this for years with
old Impalas and made a little on each project to buy another project
and throw some cash at my main project . Makin
any sense here?
this way my hobby costs me nothing but my time
Mark
