z ing question

I have a 69 stepside. what angle do u make the cut at I have looked at alot of pics on here but it doesn't say what angle u cut it at. And can a stepside lay on 20s if not what is inloved.

straight down would be best. cutting at an angle would complicate things.

I think it was backyard88 that cut his at an angle to move the wheels forward a bit. That's what I would do, but it does take a little more planning.

does anything else change planning on doing a 2 inch z with drop spindels . Like the steering etc... Just want to know what I'm getting into before I get started
