master cylinder question
Is the stock, dual master cylinder on my 70 chevy LB, 1/2 ton, the same part number as the cylinders used on the later trucks with front discs?..Did earlier years have a single resevior cylinder?

no, it is not. the disc trucks use a larger reservoir. I'm sure that there are other differences, but if the whole reason you are asking is to try to save money to convert it to discs, it's not worth the headache of trying it.
just pick up a master cylinder for a '71-'72, and you should be good.

I just picked up a new one at Auto Zone for $37.00 for lifetime. They also had one for $15.00 (re-manufactured) with a $10.00 core charge.
