I honestly didnt think the stepside versus fleetside was a debate. Fleetside trumps stepside BIG TIME! Actually i have seen so many clean GMC and stepside it is just great to see a fixed up 67-72 truck no matter the style/type.

Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
I couldnt choose I love them all. I would always use the original grill on whatever truck I bought.
OH and that ford vs chevy debate........... fords marketing slogan for being the best selling truck is focused on the "F-150" and takes in total sales from whenever they started using "f-150" till now. You see ford dont separate their trucks 2wd or 4wd, top of the line or base work truck, they are all F-150's! Chevy cant make that claim for several reasons the biggest being they changed the designation several times over the years. 4X4's are K's 2WD's are C's, there was C-10's custom-10's scottsdales cheyannes silverados. ect. Fords have been f-150's since what the 50's? Now group chevrolets and GMC's together and all the designations too, then see who sells the most. ONE MORE THING! who has had the highest REsale value for the last 30-40 years? Thats right GM baby. They are just worth more in the end. |

Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
I like GMC Too, we just didn't have a truck there for the pic I used to own a 69 GMC, I liked it because it was different. the only thing I don't like about the GMC's as that they don't have a flattering look when you look from the side. (in my opinon)
I think the Chevy 67-68's have a most "classic" look and my favorite the 71-72 have a more refined look.

Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
KevsClassics, what color is your truck?
I like all of them, including the GMC's, but the 67-68 Chevy grill is my favorite. I love how the grill flows with the rest of the body and how the hood has that more aerodynamic look to it. Can I pick on the Fords too? Chevy trucks outsold Fords for 50 years straight and as has been said before the GM trucks outsell the Fords. Ford has nothing to compete with the Corvette and the new Camaros are gonna smoke the Mustangs. Anyone seen the final production model of the new Camaros? Re: Favorite grill - make a choice!
Here's my vote with due respect to the other years/GMC's. Wake up FORD owners
