Re: Outside of barn find 67 Custom Camper
Looks like a good clip on it or at least the grill and hood. Was it a steal? Gotta love a decent price and lots of parts! Love the hub caps as well!!

Re: Outside of barn find 67 Custom Camper
the front clip is about 95% perfect if I stay on the optomistic side.
I have a feeling I will put that on my 72 sub someday, along with putting the Buddy buckets in Sub when I get them recovered. and misc, trim/emblems and such for the 67 C-10 CST I have that is my three yr old Son's truck.......... it is his truck, I almost tried to title it in his name the other day when I got new tags for it. I think I did alright it, ... 800$. the motor is suppose to be a new to the truck 327 I think that ran good when parked but tranny lost 3rd gear any more or something. I quit listening somewhere in that part of conversation and kept thinking how to get it....po had it since 1975ish........ parked the last 4 or so. thanks for listening ...... life is good, kent |

Re: Outside of barn find 67 Custom Camper
I do appreciate the thoughts about preserving it. nothing will be a chop and hack, more of a bolt and unbolt.... and I seem to have a fluid sense of time going on, as far as work getting done on anything. so I have time to think it all through then proceed.......... just having it is fun enough for now.kent

Re: Outside of barn find 67 Custom Camper
If you want the center armrest functional as a seat in your Suburban you'll need to modify it slightly so it is supported in the upright position (it rests on the cab in pickups).

That truck is awesome. I wish you lived closer I would try every part of that truck for the truck itself.

Re: Outside of barn find 67 Custom Camper
Sorry so long to reply to other posts, I need to dial in how to recheck threads.
I will get a SPID picture this weekend and post it soon.( I posted note here to not forget) it has the wood bed but it is rotted bad. I will bolt and unbolt to borrow parts but will keep all parts and if/when money is around will restore it, ( maybe I should say it will probably run pretty good, and look pretty decent from 20ft away when/if I am done). no concourse. Hart Rod, I would like pics of seat mod you mentioned, I want to follow through with putting them in my Sub. I have an upholstery shop in mind to redo them. thanks for any help. life is good, kent |
