Converting to 5 Lug Rear, What drums to use?
I guess I should ask if '71-'72 rear drums will work with my '69 12 bolt with ECE 5 lug swap axles?

you need to measure those 5 lug axles, make sure they are not wider than the stock ones.

They shouldn't be. They are suppose to be the same length as the 6 lug axles so the bearing surface still lines up.

When I did this on my last '68, I just used '71-'72 drums on the new axles. Worked perfect.
