What do you think about this one?
This truck is about 20 min from me. It's a rust bucket. But for the running gear is it a good deal? http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/car/773534846.html

Re: What do you think about this one?
It looks like a steal to me. If it were closer like others said I would have already bought it.
Neither of my trucks were in that good of shape when I bought them and I paid more than $600 each and neither of them had a BB. Around here a running big block sells for at least $600 depending on the condition. Danny

Re: What do you think about this one?
Call and try to buy a running BB core for that. The running gear ought to be worth that and whatever else is on it is just extry.

Re: What do you think about this one?
first of all, it isn't a longhorn. Coil rear and no line on the bed.
It's a long wheel base truck, and a seller who doesn't know what he has. Rust bucket... So-Cal guys are spoiled. Is it worth 6 bills? yes.... it is worth 6 for the engine alone, then you still have a whole truck (with toitle and no back lic fees) to part/use/scrap. I'd bet it's already gone too. |

Re: What do you think about this one?
I spoke with the owner. He still has it. There is more to it. He told me that he had a motor straped and it got loose in the bed while driving. Dented a bed and a cab. I might go check it out this week.

Re: What do you think about this one?
I agree with longhorn man. I never seen or heard of any longhorn with coil rears.

Re: What do you think about this one?
I spoke with him Tuesday also I just didnt make time to go. I figured I might be able to stop by tomorrow but I called him again today and got no answer
Looks like someone got it or he just decided to keep it. I dont know it seemed too good to be true for some reason.
