Going to look at 1Ton Dually

today. It has original style flatbed on it, which is what I'm after. A friend of mine called and tipped me off on it. It is supposedly running (292), and if I can get it cheap enough, I may be selling the rest of it cheap to get rid of it. Taking the camera and will be back later with some pictures. Let me know if you may be interested. I guess I may have to pay the $25 fee that Fred messaged me about and then I'll list it. I'm headed there now to check it out, don't even know the exact year model yet. 10AM PST, 8/7/08

Re: Going to look at 1Ton Dually

Ok, I've got more info and pictures. It is a 1966 C30. It has leaf springs with overloads and 4 speed with granny 1st gear, rear end is Gm Corporate HO72.Attachment 381628

Attachment 381630

Attachment 381631

Attachment 381632 Runs and clear title. I haven't bought it yet but it isn't being advertised for sale in any publication or forum (yet). I have to go wherever on this forum and pay fees before I do anything with it. I only plan to remove the flatbed and then resell it.

More pictures that didn't fit with the first batch.Attachment 381633

Attachment 381634

Attachment 381635and I just paid the supporter fees so Josh and Fred won't spank me. I also notice that my Avatar has disappeared? I'm thinking about $1200 after I take the flatbed off.

Re: Going to look at 1Ton Dually

Is the flatbed an eight footer, or longer? Is that weed growing up through the floorboard? How is the rust issue, fenders cab corners and floors. I am asking because it may not have been a California truck all its life, however the black and yellow license plates are a give away that it probably has been.

Nice looking truck. I'd buy it if it was within reasonable distance of me.
