Yoou can try Tri-pro automotive, Brothers, Gmcpauls, Classic heartbeat. I'm sure I forgot a couple, but that will give you some where to start. Plus they are all vendors here.

Why not replace the entire floor. The peice from Goodmark is very nice, and I think it is worth every penny. I wish they would have come out with the floor before I tossed 3 cabs because of crappy patch repairs.

You can look for the cheapest and that's what you will end up with or contact the above suppliers and get a quality product at a competitive price. JMHO

A lot of people have said that Tabco's parts are the best out there:

http://www.tabcobodyparts.com/html/t...f_contents.htm

I do not have any of their stuff, but it is all Made in the USA in Ohio.

Since Goodmark doesn`t produce parts, you can buy the same quality from board vendors as well as elsewhere. They used to sell Tri-Plus,but have recently broken loose from them.I`m not sure about their quality anymore.Just ask a vendor for Tri-Plus,as far as import panels go.I`ve also heard good things about Tabco who has been in the panel business for many years.

Re: Looking for the best inner rockers..Please help

You may want to use an outer floor vs. backing plates. Backing plates only take care of the area from the "A" to "B" pillar. Normally if that area is visibly rotted you could use the extra metal of the full piece.

Not to hi-jack, but for clarification, outer floor replacement=no need for inner rocker replacement?

The "Inner rocker", or "Rocker Panel Backing Plate" is actually part of the floor. When you do an outer floor you're replacing that piece but also the parts that bolt to your cab floor supports

Re: Looking for the best inner rockers..Please help

I don;t even bother with the flat repair panels. They never are big enough and if i had to those could be made. The outer floor drops are the way to go. I have installed several sets now while also doing "A" and "B" pillar repairs along with outer rockers. So far so good on my Blazer and a 68 K20

Re: Looking for the best inner rockers..Please help

I used tabco pieces (corners and inner rockers) on my 71 with nos outers and everything went together with no problems at all. As far as I know there are no nos inner rockers available,Never even seen anyone offer up a set for sale. I used tri-plus inner and outer rockers on my 72 cab and they went in easily and fit very well. Most of the parts are very good out there, but tri-plus or tabco seem to be very close to original in regards to fit and finish. Any of the venders suggested are first rate people to deal with. Wes at classic heatbeat is a great guy, Tim is a great guy and Paul of Gmc Pauls is also a great guy, it all depends in my opinion as to who is the closest vender to you so you can get things quickly. Hope this helps.
