KYB Gas-A-Just. Affordable, firm control, and a decent ride... and they have lasted a long time. Much better than my old Monroe Gas Magnums.

That's what I've got on my '68. Although a bit expensive, they give a nice ride.

Re: Shock Absorbers- What do you use?

I did the Monroe Reflex front only at this time. I plan on changing the rear soon, I jut need to get the right length.
I was running Dostech (sp?) and had a front one go bad? I have not removed the rears to check them...

Re: Shock Absorbers- What do you use?

On my 68 GMC with rear leaf springs I'm also using the Monroe's that were on sale-buy 3 and 1 free...

They're better than the originals that I had, but they're definitely more bouncy. It's not as smooth as I'd like for it to be.

Re: Shock Absorbers- What do you use?

This is good info as I will be needing to purchase a set soon. Keep up the info. I am looking for a good firm ride.
