Re: Crappy Co-worker.
The one question I hate getting is, "You wanna sell your truck" or "How much do you want for your truck?" Inevitably it always winds up with some lowball offer (I don't think I've heard more than $1500) and then some incredulous looks when I tell them I got that much in the engine alone.
Not that my truck is a looker or anything but come on Mike Oscar Foxtrot Oscar... |

Re: Crappy Co-worker.
$1500,I thought you wanted to buy it not ride in it.
Maybe you should print out the schedule for Barret/Jackson and give it to him.Tell him to go get educated.

Re: Crappy Co-worker.
$1500? Tell him that 3 years ago a guy (me) bought one IN Corpus for $1300 that was a no-option, rusty, not running, bad brakes, bad electricals, and has soaked up three times that so far to get it running. Some people...

Re: Crappy Co-worker.
"I`ll give you $1,500."Shoulda said to him,"Oh,now you want me to finance it with a 10% down payment? In that case I`ll need $18,000.I thought we where talking cash outright."

Re: Crappy Co-worker.
Speaking of $1500 trucks, somebody's got a decent looking 71/72 LWB for sale up in Porter for $1500. It's sitting on the side of FM 1314. I didn't get a chance to pull over to check it out up close but it looked decent for the asking price.
