Door Strikers
Quick question.
Are door strikers normally painted or should I just clean them up?

If you're talking about thr striker plate on the door jam (not the latch on the door) I believe they were black. If you paint them with a flat black paint, that's as close as you can get to the original finish.
Maybe someone else can chime in on this.
