also, wear patterns? help enlighten a novice engine guy. is that good or bad and why? again this motor has 54k miles on it.

If the bolt holes line up and the ports are fully covered then I would say they would work. I was pretty sure I read on one of these forums that the bolt holes were not the same. I or the poster must have been wrong.

You want your bearing bearing wear to cover as much as the bearing as possible and the amount of wear to be equal. Not always the case.

got her running, cam broke in! now just lots of little crap to take care of. boy does she run smooth! if only the dam rams horn wasnt cracked! ugh. but ill fix that soon. here is a video! turn up the speakers!

I have used aftermarket manifolds to fix customers trucks and have never had one come back.Yes the are made in china crap but they seem to hold up.I havent tried the rams horns but I imagine the are about the same.
