Dana 44, 1/2 to 3/4 ??
It is my understanding that a 71 1/2 ton and a 71 3/4 ton use the same basic diff and axles. The difference is in the spindle and lug combo.
Is this correct? Specifically, can I change a 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton by using my existing spindles, hubs and so on. I want a gear change and have found a front.

Kevin, you'll have to use your spindles, caliper brackets and wheel hubs the axles will interchange.
