Plastic Keys
I was cleaning out my brothers truck and found a set of plastic keys, I tried the ign key and it started the truck. I was just wondering if this was common.

Re: Plastic Keys
My grandfather had a set of those. You could put them in your wallet like a credit card. If you lost your keys you would have a set with you.

Re: Plastic Keys
I had a set of those that came with a new Pontiac.
BTW, there's a body shop in my home town (3000 miles from Ca) with the same name.

Re: Plastic Keys
hmm ive seen similar keys on some european and japanese cars, but nothing aussie or american cars over here at least.
i used to keep a spare door and ign key taped and hidden in my wallet just in case.
