drop spindles

Hey Guys,
Kinda of dumb question but anyways I know someone here can help me. I just got my drop spindles and didn't realize until I got one of them installed that they are wrong. I believe they are for a 1" rotor and unfortunately I have the 1 1/4" rotors on my burb. Now I am about 90 percent sure I told the guy I needed the spindles for the 1 1/4" rotors. So, is it possible to get 1" rotors instead of the 1 1/4" and install them on the spindles I have?? I know its probably a dumb question but I just don't know. I need rotors anyway so this would save some headaches. Thanks!

Re: drop spindles

I am, not so sure I would run 1" rotors on a Burb...I would prefer the 1 1/4" units. But that is just me. Yes, you can switch rotors, but you will also need new calipers, hardware and maybe pads too.

Re: drop spindles

Did you order them for a Burb? If so, he sent you the wrong spindles. As far as I know all Burbs had the HD brakes, so I would call them back and tell them they sent the wrong spindles. Even a slight shipping, restocking fee would be worth paying versus converting to the smaller brakes.
