Installing trail arm bushing??????
Do i need to pressthe bushing out out or can they be driven out with a hammer, and the drove back in with a hammer I have new polyurethane to install any help would be great thanks Moose

I've seen that some of the guys on here melted them with a propane torch. You can press them out also. I haven't gotten to this yet but I think with some of the poly kits you have to reuse the metal insert of the old bushing.

I would suggest using a press. Use bushings or spacers of some sort to keep the two flanges from getting bent out of shape. I learned this the hard way. Sockets of the right length can be put in between them to keep things in shape. Just go slow and watch carefully what is happening.

If your going with the polys, you will need to leave the outer steel sleeve. Just get a propane torch and heat or melt the rubber untill you can push them out. Then clean up the sleeve, lube the new bushings and install them

I set the rubber on fire to get it out then spent a couple hours trying everything to get the damn things out. It wasnt fun.
