Eye Candy

This beauty isn't mine. Just saw it on the side of the road and thought y'all might like some pics. Personally I don't get the draw of layin the frame rails like that but it's cool nonetheless.

I can certainly appreciate the work/workmanship, but it's just not "my cup o' tea."

Re: Eye Candy

That is defetnely a bad a** example of our beloved body style suv.
I love the stance, rims, color and the fact that it is a pretty stock looking 68

Not my cup of tea either, but still kind of cool.

That phone # is a tad scary though.

Re: Eye Candy

It actually belongs to the owner of the shop. I see a 70 longbed out there all the time too I think belongs to him. I'll get some pics of that next time I see it.

I find it ironic that the truck doesn't have the windows tinted though.

Re: Eye Candy

Pretty interesting the diversity of all the guys on the board - I just don't understanding the "laying frame" thing, but obviously a lot of guys like it. It is a nice 'burb otherwise, though.

Think about how much film it would take to tint that whole darn thing. It would put him out of business. lol.

i know what you mean...

one of the funniest things i have seen was at a show once where an older gentleman was driving this really nice restored 72' chevy LWB, about 95% stock looking truck. it sat a little shorter than stock and people were checking it all out you could hear "thats a nice truck"...."thats how a truck should look"....."would look cooler if it was lower" blah blah blah.....and then the air valves busted off...the truck almost layed out.....then you heard "what a waste of perfect truck"..."thats pointless"...."sweeet thats what i'm talking about"......"cool truck"..

thats what i love most about "your" truck, it's the little things that you change to make it "yours".
