wow each pic I saw it got worse and worse.. if that is not original paint, there is probably some nasty stuff under there.. you have to remember that these rust from the inside out, and it looks pretty soft in some of the roof/upper pillar areas...
factor what you have in the miata. consider that if you get this it would be a driver/work truck( a nice one). could you drive/get $4000 worth of use out of it? If the time came to restore, you would probably be looking at a new cab/doors/ front clip to start getting it to the standards of the other build you are doing. And I guess , would you just rather have that than the miata? |

That is a lot of rust.
For motor mounts in pickups, the 235 had the front mounting plate and mounts on each side of the bell housing. Not a great way to do it, but it worked.
