Z71 question

ok i seem to recall when chevy changed the bodystyle in 99. and seem to recall seeing one in a car magizine. where it was like 99 or 2000 came with a built in winch. in the front bumper the z71s did was this jsut a specil edition. or was it a special order type thing or ?

i have a 2001 z71 and was wondering the other day about this.
i know its not hard to put a winch on but what i was thinking. was trying to find one that had been wrecked. and take the bracket and winch off like find one in the junkyard.

but does anyone know if this was special order or a special make. like say only few hundred or thousand made with them?

Re: Z71 question

No dice. No factory winch option on GM trucks in many decades.

Re: Z71 question

Your thinking of a dodge power wagon. The only truck in the last few years to have one.
