69 Gmc- Subwoofer Box
I have a 69 GMC and was wondering if anyone out there has put sub's under the seat i have an 8" rockford but had to raise the seat 2 inches, dont bother telling me to move the gas tank its staying where it is so if anyone can help me i'd appreciate it

if you dont have a floor shifter, then build a console and mount it there. Be creative with it. You can put gauges, switches for bags or whatever, amps? Build a banpass box with the sub firing right up toward you so your passengers will have something to watch. There should be plenty of air space ava. for one 10".

well man this sorda applies and sorda doesnt. i have a 10 under my seat but i have a bench seat from around a early 90's chevy. all i did was build a box that had just enough depth for the speaker to fit and i built the box with specs for it to fit in between the seat frame. it raised the passenger side back of the seat up about an inch but it sounds good. the box is a down fire boxso that when someone sits over there it doesnt smash the cone. oh and the speaker is a kicker comp.
