Motor mount / tower ?'s
Hello,
We have a father / son 67 swb c-10 build that we are getting ready to do a crossmember swap to a '72 for disk brakes. Will the 67 sbc motor stands/mounts bolt to a 72 crossmember? I am thinking they will but want to be certain. The parts truck had BBC motor stands originally. Thanks for any help you can provide, i want to make sure i have all the needed parts before i start the swap.

Re: Motor mount / tower ?'s
Yes, they used the same sbc tower from 67 to 72.

Re: Motor mount / tower ?'s
Thanks for the quick reply. Do the mounts separate from the tower, as i didnt see a bolt going through the rubber mount, but it was late when i looked. I may have more questions in the near future.
Thanks as always...

Re: Motor mount / tower ?'s
Yes, the mounts are bolted to the block with three bolt and should unbolt from the towers by removing the single center bolt/washer on bottom side of stand, if they are 67-72 sbc towers.

Re: Motor mount / tower ?'s
ok, thanks for the reply.I saw where it was bolted to the block with 3 bolts. I will go see if i can see the single bolt. so to pull the motor will i have access to unbolt the single bolt, or will i have to unbolt from the block? Excuse my ignorance, but I am trying to make sure i pull the motor/trans the most efficient way.
As always we appreciate your help.

Re: Motor mount / tower ?'s
Just remove the single bolt running up thru the tower and into the mount/bushing, one on each side and you are ready to lift out.
