spindle and drum ?'s

being the the early 70's chevy g10 vans had the smaler 4.75 bolt pattern, has anyone ever tried the slindles and or conntrol arms on a 67-72 truck, and yes i understand that the rear will have to be changed too to match the bolt pattern

also how about early car drums (49-54) on the front of a 67-70 truck, has anyone tried to run them at all, reason im asking is cuz the brake shoes are the same size and for s&!ts and giggle i did try it yesterday and they seem to fit and spin perfectly
