Re: explanation of screen names
Mine was a nickname given in High School and has stuck until now...Funny story....My best friend now had known me for two years before she knew I was Robert, not Bobbo... My sis even calls me it and my nephews know me as "Uncle Bobbo"...

Re: explanation of screen names
Mine came from the evolution of a previous name.
When I first started playing FPS (shooter) video games, I would always get 5 kills in a row and then die. It was weird, so my buddies who I played with started calling me "Ace" As I started playing online more, I would often times join a game server that already had an "Ace" playing, so it would either boot me from the server, or change my name, so I added the "X" to the end in order to make my gaming life easier. At the same time, I had a group of friends who were heavy into RPGs, and when my strongest character finally died, I recreated him as AceX. I got made fun of alot in high school...

Re: explanation of screen names
If I have to explain,you wouldn`t understand
When I got my first GM 4wd I was working on a house being built for a Kellogg heir and it just fit...J/K.Although that did happen, that was when a computer was made by IBM and filled a big room.Internet?Whuzzat? I thought user names were to protect your identity when online.I`m late to the internet scene and had heard alot of this`n`that about i.d.theft online.Otherwise I`d prolly just use my name. I always went for special order 4wds and have owned a bunch.I had a CheyenneSuper CustomCamper loaded K/20 and called it my Super-K and it always made me think of the Special-K script. That`s the name I started with until I got a new wireless laptop with a cable connection.I changed IPs and a new e-mail account.I didn`t know how to log-on because sites said Super-K was taken already. It was just easier to come up a new name and Special-K came to mind at the moment. Now,I`m stuck with it. I was thinking Special order K-models.My DD company truck is a`92 K3500 that I special ordered like I wished I could have done 20 years earlier.

Re: explanation of screen names
I've never owned any 67-72 but a Panel.Deland is my given name.I think they gave it to me at birth, and I'm old enough that I know they still gave drugs to women undergoing childbirth.

Re: explanation of screen names

x- as in not anymore flyboy- one of the nicknames for airforce members since my son joined the airforce i've thought of changing it to something like flyboysdad, or something else along those lines. but then i thought about all the confusion from changing names (confusion on my part) cause i use the same name on most sites i visit
