Dynacorn makes one. I believe you have to go through certain dealers to get it. check www.dynacorn.com

i just bought a parts truck that had a good cab for mine. it was $1200 and the rear fenders and bed are good also. although i am building a long bed, so i can't use the bed on this build. it will be used on the next one.

SweTruck
Welcome to the site.
I don't believe anyone is making a cab for the 55 to 59 trucks.
Most of these trucks have rust but can be repaired with a little skill and some patience.
Post some pics so we can see what you have and I'm sure you will get lots of ideas on what to do.

Re: Steel cab for 57 2:nd 3100.

We are Dealers for Dynacorn and they do not make the cab. Only the 47-50 and 52-54.
They are supposed to be offered sometime in the near future according to DII. Expect to pay alot though. I have not seen any news on the status.

We are a DII dealer as well but not for Classic Bodies. I did see the one they made at the 07 sema show. So I do know its coming, I assumed it would be out now. I just heard its tied up in licensing aproval from GM but that may be old news.

Re: Steel cab for 57 2:nd 3100.

Hi,

Thanks for all the input.

I do have a good bit of rust in the cab. Such as the better part of the floor is missing including lower part of the firewall, also the bottom part where the door hinge is fixed to the body. But the worst is in the ceiling around the windshield, all the way down to the glass and thatīs the bit that worries me. All the rest is doable. But it takes a lot of skill/time/effort to make that right. If I could get that piece Iīd be allright. But a whole cab would save me a lot of time.

Iīll try to get some pictures and youīll see.

Take care
