Jimmy Cover - Which would you buy?
LMC 3000 Universal cover:
Superior Protection at a Great Value - soft cushioning fabric protects your paint. - Superior breathable 3-layer fabric is highly water resistant, even during downpours - no-leak construction achieved through ultrasonic welding - UV-stable materials ensure a long life - Ideal for long term vehicle storage $118.70 shipped -OR- Wolf 200 Custom fit cover: Great Performance at a Value Price - Outdoor Or Indoor Use - Strong 3 layer fabric - Lightweight - easy to handle and store - Highly breathable - Water resistant - 2-Year Warranty $120.99 shipped Whats your opinion? This will be for outside winter storage in northern Ohio. I am considering putting this cover on then covering the cover with a tarp for better protection. My Jimmy is only a 20 footer but the tarps are really hard on paint so I want the cover for paint protection.

Re: Jimmy Cover - Which would you buy?
I've used evalution 3 covers on some of my cars. Don't know about which company is better. But I'd stay away from covering the cover with a tarp. Those covers are made to breath. And the tarp will hold moisture in. Not a good idea.

Actually,if you live in snow country, unless you can get it under a shelter, I beleive you are on a slow road to turning your truck back to iron ore. Last edited by Tom Vogel; 10-04-2008 at 09:56 AM. Reason: spelling |

I appreciate the comments so far, but I am trying to do the next best thing to leaving it uncovered outside. So has anyone used the LMC or Wolf covers?
