Need frame help...
The PO tried to weld his own bumper brackets onto the front and rear of my 2wd 72 blazer. Unfortunately he managed to butcher and burn holes instead. I would like to know if the rear part of the frame (the part that angles down) is the same for a pick up and a blazer?

Re: Need frame help...
Looking at your siggy, why not lop them off and run a roll pan?

Re: Need frame help...
You could use the truck ends and go with the truck bumper brackets.

Re: Need frame help...
Why not just lob them off and run 71 rear brackets?

Re: Need frame help...
I am undecided about a roll pan because I also like the sport bumper. Can someone explain the difference between the bumper brackets? Pumpkin, sending you a pm.

Re: Need frame help...
Now that I look at it again, I think your rear horns are fine,
just grind of those welds, and adjust the end tabs, whalaa

Re: Need frame help...
The fellow who did the "welding" ended up melting through the vertical sides of the horns. You can kind of see it next to that bolt on the left horn

Re: Need frame help...
Could someone post a picture of the 2wd 71 style frame ends? If I end up cutting off the end I need some kind of reference where to cut. Could a pair of front horns work in the back as well?
