Re: Feeler...8 lug mags

How about me? I know you said UPS is your only viable option, but if you'd do FEDEX I'll take them. I had a member ship and uluminum intake and carb (UPS $80) I sent a heavy cast iron intake back (FEDEX $29), so if you can do FEDEX I can do the wheels I think?? LMK

Re: Feeler...8 lug mags

MickMc the UPS cost for shipping to you is 21.01 per wheel. I will have to find boxes if you want to do this.

70rs/ss I need you to PM me your mailing address. I have something for you...dont worry you'll like it

UPS is the only way I can ship. We have daily pickup from them. All other forms of shipping is more hassle than I feel like dealing with. Sorry =)

Not trying to jump over you, just putting my name on the list. BTW how's that 4-door Chevelle coming?? I think I have found a decent 2wd shell, so I may not do anything with the 4-door except....GULP....cut it up?! LMK

Re: Feeler...8 lug mags

CG, Go to any wheel store like Discount Tire on Bel Red road just south of us. They have boxes for free that will be perfect. I have shipped 4 wheels in boxes and taped the four boxes together and it has worked out fine. Package will be 18x18x48. FedEx ground has a $6.00 handling fee for one box weighing 120#.

These wheels are a great deal at this price plus shipping. I sold an identical set for $350 in one day on craigslist. They will polish up in about 30 minutes per wheel. I almost bought them since I was regretting selling my other set...LOL!

I've been concentrating on my 67 step side with the 500 Cadillac.
I figured I needed to get it running so we could have access to the 67 four door. I got the truck started last weekend, now I am just tying up the details and that might include the tilt colunm, the suburban gas tank and some sort of dash distruction....

If you don't want the four door let me know...soon

Maybe this week end I will pull some more parts off of it and set them up for ebay, time to raise some cash...

NOW BACK TO OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAMMING.

Mick

PS Mike how is your back?

Trying to figure out where you are and whether or not Mick has decided yes or no. I'm in line after him I think and still interested, especially after the helpful suggestions on how to ship. Thanks for keeping it straight.

Re: Feeler...8 lug mags

In order of appearance:
9-7 IAFF2407 Passed, too wide for his burb with disks
9-7 pjwlk99 Never heard back after shipping quote...passed out?
9-8 Jonzboy Never heard from after initial post
9-18 GRENDEL Taking them no matter what...HOW MUCH TO
SHIP??? Passed...LOL
9-18 Special-K Wanted to be at the back of the line..LOL?
9-19 MickMc Shipping quote too much? Never got back to me but
has posted on this thread since.
9-19 PortHeadlight Still interested...possibly maybe...with new shipping idea*
9-25 CHUCK4850 Backspacing is 4.5 inches
9-25 70rs/ss FedEx only for him

Ok guys here is where Im at, Im going to cap this lol...Im not yelling...Im emphasizing =)

*I CAN ONLY SHIP VIA UPS, I DON'T HAVE FED EX PICKUP AT MY OFFICE, AND I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH FINDING A SHIPPING PLACE BESIDES MY OFFICE ANYWAY. I CAN BOX THESE WITH BOXES FROM A TIRE STORE LIKE STLLOOKN SUGGESTED...BUT I CAN ONLY SHIP THEM PER BOX, UPS WILL HIT ME WITH OVERSIZE CHARGES IF I TRY TO TAPE A COUPLE OF BOXES TOGETHER AND ITS VERY EXPENSIVE.

Im sorry if this makes anyone unhappy. I should have just said in the opening thread no shipping. I had no idea so many of you east coasters would be interested.

Re: Feeler...8 lug mags

Ok PortHeadlight has said he will take them...I am sending him large size pictures of each mag just to make sure he knows what he is getting. I will post back the results here...

Off the subject a little...for any of you north east guys I have a thread in the general section of this board...looking for vacation tips.

Re: Feeler...8 lug mags

Sorry for the delay, I really want them, but my paypal account is a little short, today at least.
With the news and market crashing, I'm feeling a little cash strapped, so am gioing to pass.

the wants and the needs department are being reigned in...

Dig the wheels, but 16.5 inch tires are expensive! Anyone got any 16 in 8 lugs for cheap?

If you want to get a decent response you should start a want to buy thread of your own. This thread is pretty old and most people that think 8 lug have already looked at it.
