67 swb 2wd

Hey guys, I found this locally for sale. Don't know if it's a decent deal or not, but I thought I would post it up in case anyone has any interest in it. The info on it says new rad, new brakes, new ps pump and box, new tires and it runs strong. $2000.00. The inner and outer rockers will need to be replaced and a bit of the floor, but for MI it looks pretty good. No options that I saw, stick shift and believe it or not I didn't even lift the hood, I was looking at it for the body parts more than anything. If anyone needs or wants any more info I can get it.

Re: 67 swb 2wd

That looks like a steal to me.... a fairly straight "original" truck for only $2,000!!!!

I would jump all over that!

Ditch the big mirrors and it is ready to roll...

If you get the contact information, pm me.

With the rust, it might bring the price down.

PLEASE!!

Add in the price of all that new stuff I need, a swb bed, and parting out my two trucks, thats looking like a deal, and might even get ahead with a better truck.

Re: 67 swb 2wd

Ok...here are some more pics. I will post the contact info later today after I talk with the guy.

Not sure what the deal is the floor, it looks the same in all 4 corners.

Interior looks pretty worn, but I guess this would be common to a 41 year old truck.

The rust is all there in the usual places.

Inline 6 for power.

Re: 67 swb 2wd

on the bed pic , this truck came with the factory wood bed floor it just has bad wood plank's and look's like something laying in the bed floor to haul stuff on ,
ONE POINT this truck don't look like a northern truck , it either has be transplanted (CAME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE) or was only used on farm land and did not see all the road salt duty mich has to offer !
that look's like a decent truck it has just enough rust to make it cheap and cheap it is ! that's a deal !

Re: 67 swb 2wd

CST to boot. Steering wheel horn button gives it away. I say that is definitely a good deal especially for a shortbed. If I was a local guy I'd find 2000 and try and buy it. I would of course try for 1500.00 first, butbi would be thrilled for 2000.00.

IF it is a CST the Buddy buckets were swapped out for a bench. Did the Custom get that cap also? What does the door emblem say? CST or Custom? A shot of the SPID would be nice. Great deal either way!

You could get a CST with a bench. Buddy Buckets were not part of the CST package. They were only an option.

in 68 it was optional. In 67 it WAS part of the CST package.

Did you get it? That's a great buy!

I must respectfully disagree. I recently took the front grill and other items off a small window '67 CST (I sold the horn cap to someone) It had the original bench seat worn out to the springs still in it. My understanding was that the buddy buckets were always optional and not standard with any particular option package. I could be wrong though. It wouldn't be the first time.

We are getting off topic here, but. lol.

I'm not saying a bench never came in a 67 CST. GM did lots of weird stuff. Everything I've read here and all the 1967 CST's I've seen lead me to believe they were part of the CST package in 67, BUT I may be misinformed also. here it is from the man himself.http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...t=1967+buckets Does anyone have better info on this?
