5th wheel tailgate
I recently got a 5th wheel camp trailer given to me and I'd like to start using it next year. My Dad has a 5th wheel tailgate on his 97 GMC and it makes it easier to hook up. I found one real cheep (free) off of a mid 80's Chevy but it didn't quite fit.
My question is if there is a company that makes them for our trucks?

Re: 5th wheel tailgate
I doubt it, just cut and weld cut and weld, it (IMO) would look sweet when done.

Re: 5th wheel tailgate
There should be enough gates for our trucks around to build one.As bad as some are it might be easy to get one. Then use the shape of the cutout on your dads and cut away. You could then weld a strengthening strip into the open area.
