New to the club. I am looking for a bolt in suspension setup for my 69 shorty that will be comfortable on long trips and carve up the curves at the same time. Has anyone here used CPP stuff? Also is all of their products American Made? thanks.

First off, to the board from Mid-MO!

Secondly, good luck with the project!

Thirdly, I would highly recommend ECE products. Now, I haven't ran a kit from them personally, but plan to in the near future. You can ask any other board member and you will hear the same response, ECE has great products, customer service, and knowledge of their parts. I don't recall ever seeing a negative post about ECE.

Now on the other side you have CPP. I'm on the fence about their company, but with a recent purchase by a local board member, I doubt I will order a single thing from them. From missing pieces, lack of customer service, and late delivery date, I find it worth the extra few bucks for the ECE products.

When you are ready to order the parts, call out to ECE and you will end up getting a better price on the parts/shipping combined. At one time I priced an ECE 4/6 kit with shipping, and it only have up to like $20 more than the initial asking price.... and that's shipping from CA to MO.

This winter I'm planning on ordering a 4/6 (or 4.5/6 kit), front/rear brake rebuild kit, a few other things, and will not have a single worry about my order. Well, other than the wife seeing the credit card bill.......

Again, welcome to the board, and good luck with the project. You'll learn that the board will become your second home.

I've used ECE & CPP parts on my trucks.

My personal experience is they're both good companies w/quality products. The difference could be in customer support after the purchase but I've never had to test that possibility.

I ordered from ece and they were great to me but i ordered from cpp and the parts were great but i waited very long for parts due to the fact they were not in stock,but both shops make great stuff.

I used ECE. Their products are made in the USA and are easy to bolt on. No problems at all. They also have great customer service and the guys there know what they are talking about.

has anyone used the cpp upper tubular arms ,i thought about buying some for my 72 but was just wondering how they were.

I would start here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=307009 then build the rest around it and you will be very happy. I also would deal with ECE (early classic enterprises) as I have done so for over 10yrs now and have never been let down in any way!

If I recall correctly, lolife99 used their tublar arms on his Blazer and after doing so wished he had gone a different route.

Air Ride is also another choice, check out the parts board for a smokin' deal on a full set of Air Ride Tech system. Front/Rear/Air Management, brand new for only $1650!!!

Thats not a bad deal!! I will take a look, thanks again. I really like that complete front and rear suspension package ridetech has. I think it is called air bar??? It comes with trailing arms, crossmember, bags and shocks?? Also the front kit comes with new tubular control arms, shockwave shocks I think?? I thought that kit was really cool but VERY expensive.
