Thumbs up My truck in Custom Classic Trucks!!!

Just picked up the October issue of Custom Classic Trucks, and turned to the coverage of the Brothers 10th annual show and shine...low and behold, there was my truck in full color on page 40!!! My jaw dropped, and then I started hollering and jumping up and down. The people at the store looked at me like I was nuts...until I showed them the pic and told them that was MY truck! One guy said "no way", and I turned him around 180 degrees and said look, there it is in the parking lot. He quickly said "wow, nice truck man!" A couple dudes came out with me to check it out in person. I took the daily driver trophy at the show last year, and the magazine staff really liked my truck. I do have it listed for sale or trade here on the board...but now I am starting to have second thoughts!!

Nice man. I had a 94 Z28 and it ended up in a calender for CamaroZ28.com and I know exactly the feelings you went through.

If it were me, I would keep the thing. You have a very, very clean truck!

Re: My truck in Custom Classic Trucks!!!

That is one sweet truck. When your truck is pictured in a magazine it's usually good. It's time to party!

Re: My truck in Custom Classic Trucks!!!

Thanks for all the kind words guys! I have never really wanted to sell it, but it is impractical for a wife and two kids (yes, it really IS my daily driver, as it is the ONLY vehicle I own. My wife has a 4 door car for the kids) So I either roll in this truck or I ride my bicycle. If I were to sell it, I would turn right back around and buy a first generation Blazer so my family can ride with me. I actually would prefer to trade it for a Blazer in similar condition.

Ha Ha I wish that was the case! I have had very little interest in it so far...must be the economy. Again, thank you for all of the kind words.

Congrats. I suscribe to that magazine. My daughter is using that issue to teach art. Just think not only do you drive a famous truck, but now little kids are learning how to draw it.
