Windshield Wiper question
I have a 67 short step and and I need some wipers and the local parts places don't carry windshield wiper inserts for 67-72.
What other years will fit? Thanks |

Re: Windshield Wiper question
I always bought the ones closest in lenght with the metal retainers and cut the end that doesnt have the retainer. I work for Auto Zone so I know how it feels to not be ale to get half of the stuff at the store I work at. Did the local guys go to the book or stick to the computer, I'll see what I can find tommorow and email part numbers tommorow night.

Re: Windshield Wiper question
IIRC you can run a 16" wiper on your stock arms, just go to any place that has wipers & pick up some blades

Re: Windshield Wiper question
I'm using 17" Bosch wiper arms and blades on my '68. For my case I wanted the wiper arm to extend farther up top then the factory 15" ones and what I figured out is that even the 17" blades extend only about 1/2" more. I figured they'd be waaaaaaay too long. Also, Trico carries a universal blade that you just snap off to the correct length.

They're universal.
