Master cyl./power booster options..??
Trying to clean up the engine compartment, and never liked how the master cyl. and pwr booster stuck out so far...Looking for a way to move the master cyl. and booster closer to the firewall, and maybe decrease the size of the booster without sacrificing braking ability...
anyone done this yet with good results..?? thanks.

Re: Master cyl./power booster options..??
I thought about doing that too, but I decided to mount mine under the dash eventually
But if you just want a cleaner look, you could get a set up like this I think its a camaro or vette set up or something |

Re: Master cyl./power booster options..??
seems like someone had some pics of a conversion done with S10 parts, mc was bolted direct to the firewall, and the booster was smaller... searched but could not find...
just bumping myself back to the top...

On 1972 G20 vans the factory bolted the booster directly to the firewall with no bracket to save room

Re: Master cyl./power booster options..??
I tried starting a thread on this as the FAQ is lacking info in this area. I've seen some nice looking setups, but nobody talking.

Re: Master cyl./power booster options..??
one last bump...
thought I'd seen some pix of newer mc/booster conversions done on these trucks... maybe not.
