Speedometer Question

Anyone come across one of these weird gear box things at the end of the speedo cable. Its froze up and stripped out the speedo gear where the cable slides in. Ive never seen this before.

Re: Speedometer Question

It's a ratio adapter. Both of my 79 4x4's have them. One plugs into a NP205 and the other plugs into a NP203. Didn't know they came on 2 wheelers...

Re: Speedometer Question

If you look close, there should be a ratio number stamped on the housing that might help you in your search for the right speedo gear.
