Conversion info please
My brother is converting his 69 bigblock 3/4 ton 2wd to a 4wd. He is using dana60 front 14bolt rear 396 turbo 400 -205. Does he need to change the motor mounts and front crossmember? any info is appreciated.
Thank You

Re: Conversion info please
I think his best bet is to find a good 4X4 frame. I know the frames are different 2wd and 4wd. Does the 3/4 truck have leaf spring rears? I still would look for a good 4X4 frame.

Re: Conversion info please
Yes leaf rears and he already has the front done and springs and dana 60 already in place. its just the motor trans and TC . just looks to me that the motor is sitting up a bit.

A 4X4 engine does sit back abit towards the firewall when you use a 4X4 frame not sure about if you convert a 2wd frame though
