WTB - '70 front end parts

I'm looking for a '70 Grille w/ lights and bumper ('69 inner is ok). If you aren't near 40517, you must be willing to ship. Doesn't have to be show quality, just a decent driver. I have some parts i'd be willing to trade, including '71/72 front end stuff, a good HEI, a set of heads for a 305 H.O., and some other odds and ends. Otherwise, shoot me a price and some pics.

Re: WTB - '70 front end parts

I have a working H.E.I. that I pulled off my truck when I pulled the motor. I don't even know what these things are going for anymore? what do you have to trade as far as front end stuff?

I also might have a 70 grille and stuff, just need to see if I could find a replacement for not too much coin.

Finch, I;ve seen HEI's go anywhere from $30 to $75 or so. It depends on what you've got, I suppose. What I've got to trade as far as a '71/2 front end goes is as pictured below:

You can see the ding in the outer, there's a spot on the bumper about the size of your palm that the chrome is peeling, I can get a blue emblem. If yours is a lot better looking, I can throw a little cash in. Too much cash kills the deal by the time we ship, though.

Byrd, Shoot me some pics to igmoohead@yahoo.com, I wouldn't mind to make a trip over and check out your dashes and stuff anyway. I've heard nothing but good things about your work around here.

Grill pics, you can see the bumps on both ends and in the middl eof the center bar(has been straightend somewhat) adn there is a small pece of the inner brill missing on the lower part. I do have the turn signals as well(not pictured) the grill still has the mounting brackets riveted to it. Not really sure what it is worth, but I need to get it out of my garage.

Byrd, I don't know if I want the wrong grille in better shape, or the right grille in better shape. It might help me decide if you can decide what its worth to you...

Bill, I'll keep you in mind. Be sure to get in touch with me next time you head over the mountain to London for anything. I may just run down and meet you for that bumper.

Tynee, How bout $25 if you come here and pick it up. I know it is far from perfect, but with some love and patience it could look nice.
